Drawing on in-depth market insight and an international network, I tailor selling strategies to each artwork in order to achieve the strongest possible outcome, while ensuring that clients retain control throughout the process and understand every stage clearly. I also advise on the changing tastes and generational considerations that often shape the transfer of collections, helping families think carefully about longer-term planning. Above all, I undertake rigorous research in advance of any sale to ensure that expertise and provenance are secure, reducing risk and protecting the integrity of the transaction.

Whether you require an independent valuation for insurance, for an institutional loan, or simply to understand the current market position of a work, I offer clear and considered advice. I provide updated insurance and current market valuations for individual artworks and entire collections, regardless of whether a sale is contemplated, and also advise on valuation matters connected to museum loans and broader collection management. Alongside this, I help identify relevant market trends, areas where expertise may need updating, and occasions where conservation may enhance long-term value.

Beyond strategic planning, I oversee the practical care of collections so that artworks are preserved and presented to the highest standards. I help alleviate the day-to-day complexities of collection management, ensuring that each work is properly cared for, documented, catalogued, insured and positioned for the future, while also liaising with institutions in relation to exhibition loans. I work closely with trusted conservators and framers on condition and presentation, and oversee installation, lighting, storage and logistics to ensure artworks are transported and handled safely, efficiently and with careful control of cost.
